SODA ASH – PH UP – 50KG
POOL FLOCCULANT / COAGULATING AGENT / WATER CLARIFIER
* Soda Ash is white powdery flocculent, which clumps all fine particles into larger particles, for easier vacuum off and quicker water clarity.
* In powder form.
How Much Soda Ash / pH Up To Put In Pool
a) Dose 200 grams of Soda Ash for 10m3 cubic / 2,700 gallons pool water.
b) Dose 1 KG of Soda Ash for 50m3 cubic / 13,200 gallons pool water.
Steps To Use Soda Ash
a) Brush, vacuum and remove large debris and floating leafs.
b) Test the pool water and balance its pH with relevant chlorine.
c) Dose necessary amount of Alum into the swimming pool.
d) Set the filter valve to “Recirculate” and run the pump for two hours. The
contaminants will be clump together due to the effect of the Alum.
e) Brush the pool as the water circulates to loosen any clumped particles.
f) Turn pump off for 12 to 24 hours, or until the clumped contaminants (floc)
settles to the pool floor.
g) Set the filter valve to “Waste”, vacuum gently the pool floor to collect the
settled contaminants or else it can break apart the clumped particles.
h) Add new water into swimming pool to top up water level.
i) Test the water pH and water chemistry again, and adjust to ideal level.
