Halal Certified Filtration System
The Waterco FRP filter has received Halal certification, confirming that its manufacturing process and materials comply with Islamic dietary laws. Waterco has gone through rigorous audits and inspections to ensure its facilities meet the standards required for certification.
The filter media used in the system is also Halal certified, so your water is filtered only through materials free from non-Halal substances. This makes Aquaflo a reliable choice for households, restaurants, food and beverage manufacturers, poultry processors and any facility that prioritises Halal products in daily operations.

What Each Filter Media Layer Does
- GAC-Plus (top layer option): Removes taste and odour, and reduces chlorine by around 50–60% while leaving enough for disinfection.
- Anthracite-Pure (top layer option): Light, tough media that holds particles deep in the bed and reduces clogging. Note that it does not remove chlorine.
- ZeoPlus: Removes ammonia and “chlorine” odour, and produces high-clarity water.
- DMI-Plus: Catalytic media for iron, manganese and arsenic removal, which helps eliminate yellowish water and stains.
- Graded River Silica Sand: Physical filtration of sediment and suspended solids.
- Graded Gravel: Supports the media bed and improves backwash efficiency.
The top layer media is selected based on your incoming water condition and requirements.
